Bonfire night with stories

We light a fire in the campfire pit at sunset, set out blankets and floor cushions, and bring hot drinks (tea, mulled wine in autumn) from the restaurant. On its own this is just a relaxed evening under the stars. On request we add a local storyteller — a man from a nearby village who knows the old Adjaran folk tales and tells them in Georgian with a translator. The stories are short, weird, often funny, and a much better closing programme than a screen ever is. Most groups end their stay around a fire. It's where the wedding speeches happen, where the dev team off-site lands its retro, where the retreat closing circle takes place.
